1 Week To Go!

I’m a planner. I like order. I want to know how and when things are going to happen. I’m a “place for everything and everything in its place” kinda girl. Ask anyone who’s peeped my color coded family planner it’s equal parts ordered and overwhelming. Life isn’t like that, though, is it? We can’t skip ahead to the end and know how it’s all going to turn out. So when God called us to serve families in Uganda I experienced that sick/scared/excited feeling that sometimes happens when God calls us to step out of comfort zones. In one week Wayne, Travis and I (& Emilia) are heading to Uganda with a skeleton of a plan, a heart for the village we’ve been serving for almost a year and a whole lot of trust that God is going to meet us where we are and fill in the details like only He can. As I’ve been packing and preparing 1 John 4:19 has been on my heart “We love because He first loved us.” We aren’t leaving our families and jobs for ten days to sightsee and gain another stamp on our passport…we are going because one year ago God called a group of people to step out of comfort zones and serve Him through this ministry. Will you pray for us and our families as we prepare to leave? Pray for Madison and my mom who will be holding forts down here while we are in Uganda. Pray for our 8 babes staying back in their homes. Pray for safety for us and for God to be seen in each of us. We are so excited and so ready for what’s next for Webale Ministries! ✌🏾❤️🇺🇬
